ATA DC Chapter Feeds 2500 Homeless People

Today, the Washington D.C. chapter served in D.C.’s central kitchen by preparing meals for over 2,500 homeless families. It was a great gesture for the volunteers to show up on a rainy Saturday. We had a good turnout of 30+people, of which half were from the younger generation. Kudos to them for their great work! ATA is grateful to have the opportunity to give back to the community during the holiday season. This event was coordinated by our regional coordinators – Sudheer Bandaru, Rammohan Surineni, and Amar Bojja. Special shoutout to Sudheer Bandaru for pulling this together.
